Our drawers are a sophisticated design using formed steel sides with integrated concealled sliding mechanism. More robust than dovetail drawers, our bottoms are 5/8" thick for heavy loads and rugged use.
Full extension is standard providing convenient reach into the rear of the drawer. The mechanism is also soft closing for smooth, quiet operation.
METRO 3D Engineered for Durability
Our standard hinge is fully concealed and features a soft closing, dampening system that reduces slamming door noises to a wisper. This hinge is fully adjustable allowing for precise 3mm gap alignment of doors during installation.
Metro 3D Cabinetry door and drawer panels are made using a process which conforms a rigid PVC laminate to shaped surfaces, giving it our distinctive 3 dimensional aesthetics. Our finishes have the look and feel of wood, metal, leather, and paint. But they are consistent in appearance, durable and easy to clean and maintain. Our finished surfaces are seamless and do not split, crack, expand and contract, or fade the way natural wood does. 3D laminates are applied to a shaped wood fiber composite material known as MDF. MDF is made from low priority wood chips and wood chip waste, making it an effective, "green" alternative to hardwood. MDF has become a preferred material for use in home construction for interior and exterior trim, and many other products, due to its favorable working characteristics, availability, and cost.
B2L or Bottle 2 Laminate is a revolutionary 3D forming laminate and its the only laminate made from recycled water bottles. The product is durable, easy to clean and contours to the work surface or component. Each square foot of B2L includes a minimum of 2 recycled water bottles.
Wall cabinets are 13" deep standard to accommodate oversized dishes that are popular today. All shelves are height adjustable to allow for flexible configuration of storage.
Metro 3D Cabinetry is made in the USA, supporting American manufacturing workers and industry.
By engineering our cabinets without face frames, the openings are unrestricted and as wide as possible, allowing more storage space and easier access. Inside depth and width are also larger while maintaining the same outside dimensions. case components are 3/4" thick, opposed to typical 1/2" for framed cabinets.
"METRO 3D Cabinetry is engineered to deliver high performance and function for generations of use."
